Baftoma was once a resource-rich planet. The Guild of Engineers extracted everything of value over seventy years. What remains is a latticework of rock and scaffolding — the bones of a planet that survived its own death. The debris forms a loose asteroid belt on its orbit.
Scene: Absolute silence except for the creak of cooling metal. Drifting rock sections still showing the scorch marks of extraction machinery. The stars visible through holes in what used to be a planetary crust.
Campaign relevance: The Hidden Faction's archive ship, the Meridian, is anchored in Baftoma's debris field. It has been there for eleven years, looking like one more piece of wreckage. The crew's Act 3 meeting with the Archivist happens here. The debris field also makes it one of the hardest locations in the sector to track — useful for hiding, dangerous for flying.
